Artists Statement- Why do I do what I do?

I have always felt that being an actor is this beautiful secret that I carry with me every day. I am always so excited to reveal to the people I meet that I spend my days pursuing this craft. It is my most proudest trait of what makes me me. As I was sitting in the back-row balcony of Parade at New York City Center, I had no choice but to take off my mask for a moment for fear of being suffocated by my own tears and snot (Too much? Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do?) I was moved so deeply that I wished that I was sitting in the audience with every single person I love most in this world. To share theater is to love, to be a singing actor is to love, inspire, question, ignite, and change. That is what I wish to do with my life. ​

I love animals, cooking, and I have an identical twin who is in her second year of medical school. I am proudly Jewish, and I am from Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
